This one of my favorite summer time appetizers. My mom used to call it Mediterranean Dip. It’s a great healthy choice for picnics, BBQs and pot lucks. It’s also VERY VERSATILE.
You start with a layer of any type of hummus. Then add any or all of the following. You can even cover 1/2 in something you like but others may not like. Then use pita chips, veggies or tortilla chips to scoop.
• chopped black olives (I use Kalamata)
•feta cheese (I use goat cheese crumbles)• or no cheese for VEGAN
You could also use onion, bell peppers
