This wonderful vitamin is great for boosting the immune system to help prevent cold and flu.
It's an antioxidant and it can even lower histamine in the body to help reduce allergic responses and lower the risk of chronic illness later in life.
Buffered Vitamin C 1000mg/1g
Preventative Dosing: 1 gram per day
Acute Illness dosing: to bowel tolerance
Take 1 gram every 30 minutes until you have a loose bowel movement (BM). This is typically around 6-9 grams when you are sick.
The next day take 1 gram less than the dose that gave you a loose BM. ie if you had a loose BM at 9 grams, day 2 you would take 2 grams 4 times per day equaling 8 grams total
Continue taking that dose daily until you get another loose bowel movement then decrease 1 gram per day until it happens again and so on until you are back to one gram per day.
